Who we are
Clearcut Studio (getclearcutstudio.com) is operated by LimeWorks Digital Inc., a company registered in Ontario, Canada (“LimeWorks Digital”, “we”, “us”).
No guarantee of perfect results
AI background removal can misread parts of an image. Hair, fur, glass, smoke, shadows, low contrast, transparent objects, motion blur and busy backgrounds may give incomplete, rough or inaccurate edges. This applies to every mode, including Best hair. Check every result, using the comparison view, before you rely on it.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for making sure you have permission to use each image, including any people, logos, artwork or products in it, and that the finished result is accurate, appropriate and lawful for how you use it. If an image shows other people, make sure you have their permission before you process it, especially before choosing Best hair, which sends the image to a cloud service.
Device, browser and cloud performance
Auto, Portrait and Product modes run in your browser, so speed, maximum image size and batch size depend on your computer, available memory and browser. Very large images or batches may be slow, may fail, or may make your browser unresponsive. Best hair (Clearcut Pro) uses a third-party cloud service and needs an internet connection. It is subject to a daily limit, and it may sometimes be slow, busy or unavailable. Save your work and keep copies of your original images.
Keep your originals
Clearcut Studio creates new image files and does not change your original images. We do not store your images or results, so we cannot recover a file you did not download.

Third-party services
Hosting, payment (Stripe and PayPal), sign-in (Google), AI model delivery, cloud image processing for Best hair, browsers and other third-party technologies have their own terms and privacy policies. Images you send through Best hair are handled by our cloud image-processing provider under its own terms, which may include keeping processed images. LimeWorks Digital Inc. is not responsible for services it does not control, and a link to another website is not an endorsement.
